China recently announced that it has been able to develop and attain a quantum communication system from space impossible to be hacked or eavesdropped.
In their recent announcement, China has been able to transmit secret keys from a satellite to two ground stations that separated by more than 1,000 kilometers, 10 times more than what has been achieved so far. This new accomplishment set quantum technologies in a new realm.
Several media outlets, including major media outlets like El País and Forbes México reached out to CiviQ coordinator Valerio Pruneri to get his opinion, as an expert on Quantum Communications, on the milestone achieved by the Asian country.
