On Friday 29^thNovember 2019, the Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) subject and the CiViQ project have been presented during a one day poster session of the Optical Networks program. This program, which is part of the Ambient Connectivity research domain at Orange Labs (Orange Research Entity), hosts the Orange activities on QKD.

Orange employees and also external invitees from the local optical and telecommunication ecosystem attended the poster sessions presenting the 2019 results of the Optical Networks program. On the QKD booth, the principle of QKD and also the use-cases proposed by Orange Labs and by the partners of CiViQ were presented. All the visitors were very excited by the QKD subject, the goals of the CiViQ project and the potential use-cases. The flyers of the CiViQ project, designed by ICFO (coordinator of the project), were also distributed.
